+geoaware
The nature of EarthCaching has evolved over time, and occasionally we have to update the guidelines to reflect those changes. We approve all EarthCaches based on the existing guidelines, and therefore strongly suggest that you check the latest guidelines before you submit. For example, we have added words to reflect the requirement that you must have visited the proposed EarthCache site (rather than just "Google Earthed" the coordinates) and visited recently (in the last few months) to ensure that nothing on site has changed that may prove to be a safety issue. Also, we also strongly recommend that developers re-visit their EarthCache site(s) frequently to ensure something has not changed to restrict access or cause some other safety concern, especially if it has been mentioned in the logs. Thanks folks for all your support! Quote Link to comment
+Cav Scout
Is this a exsisting update to the guidelines or proposed? I just looked and did not see anything to in regards to what you mentioned. Edited August 22, 2008 by Cav Scout Quote Link to comment
