One disk is in Utah and the other in extreme Northern Arizona. Do you want me to tell where exactly, or do you want to guess again? :anibad:

No it is not important, I just saw the Red Rock and immediately thought Sedona. I have a time share there and have been there 3 times, if it were near Sedona I would hit it up the next time I am there (whenever that may be)

The vertical set disk is in Zion Nat'l Park and the other is at Lake Powell (about 1 mile from the dam).

All, Thanks for all the photos, there are several that meet my needs.

PinkDolphin, You asked what the photos were for. I spent the last week in Puerto Rico reviewing bench mark sites selected by contractors for a first-order level line that will circle the island. So far they have not taken advantage of the rock outcrops and I want to send them some photos of good quality marks in highway rock cuts. (Disks in bedrock are the best type of mark.) This project will be the first extensive leveling project on the island and the goal is to produce a vertical geodetic datum for the island. The level network will connect to existing tide stations at several points around the island.
