+DHJ&P
Aber-cachers - Geocaching in Wales ...................but we were interviewed by Radio Wales a couple of weeks ago and have a full half hour show dedicated to geocaching on the radio next weekend. Al. Country Focus, Radio Wales, Sunday 24th August, 0730, or hear it on line after transmission for one week via the Country Focus website. The whole 28 minute programme shows geocaching in a very positive light. Well done to those who took part. Dave. Quote Link to comment

Actually, if all goes well, we'll be on our way in the car at that time - a great introduction to an otherwise rather early day of caching! I'll also have to ensure that TiVo records it for me. +DHJ&P
The best way to hear this outside Wales is via Sky - more details here. If you miss the programme at 0730 tomorrow, then you can hear it again via here. Dave Quote Link to comment
+Just Roger
Excellent program, well done to all. I listened on the website and so could follow the cache sheets and maps - as well as the deep discussion about the (non-existent) hint on one of the caches. It should do a lot for geocaching. +Mad H@ter
Excellent, well done guys BTW we have the TB, it has suddenly taken on a more special significance now that we have heard about it on the radio, is this now a celeb TB Quote Link to comment
+DHJ&P
Those listening to Country Focus on line, may have noticed the start of the programme was missing. This was corrected today and the full programme can now be heard via this link. Don't forget, the geocaching programme will only be available on line until Sunday 31st August - so don't miss your chance to hear it. Sadly, it looks like the first cache they visited - Rainbow Series Yellow has been muggled. However, the Radio Wales keyring TB is travelling well! Dave Quote Link to comment
+sTeamTraen
Great programme - the length really allowed the fun aspects to come through. My 87-year-old father-in-law listened to it in Swansea and now understands what his daughter has been on about all this time. Quote Link to comment
+Mad H@ter
However, the Radio Wales keyring TB is travelling well! It certainly is, we dropped it off near Burton Upon Trent today . Edited August 27, 2008 by Mad H@ter Quote Link to comment

+The Longdogs
Thanks for pointing this out. I put it on my MP3 player and listened in the car. I thought it was a very good introduction to geocaching for anyone who has not heard of or tried it before. Very entertaining too. Edited August 28, 2008 by wildlifewebcam Quote Link to comment
+DHJ&P
Today's the last chance to hear this geocaching programme on line - it will be replaced with the next programme at 0800 on Sunday 31st August. It can be heard from via the BBC Wales Country Focus web site. Dave Quote Link to comment
+DHJ&P
Sunday's "Country Focus" programme, 0730, 28th December, on BBC Radio Wales, will be repeating some of last year's highlights. This includes clips from August's half hour programme on Geocaching and some "follow ups". http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/radiowales/site.../20081228.shtml For those not up at 0730 on a Sunday, it will be on the BBC I-player for one week. A happy new year to everyone. Dave and Pat. Edited December 27, 2008 by David H. Jones & Pat Quote Link to comment
