+Rockin Roddy
320 miles and 6 gallons of gas Sorry for the delay everyone, here's the winning answer!! I went to visit my Dad and then Tod's Mom and Brother!! Good news all around, so I'm in a good mood for a change lol!! Shoot me your addy MF and I'll pick a coin for you!! Talked about hosting a memorial ride for Tod AND about renting a billboard for bike awareness!! Both look to be very doable and realizeable in the near future!! In case anyone has missed it, I have now become very involved in bike awareness, it is a message I feel needs to be brought forward!! I want to set up a website, but the cost and such, plus the work involved might be out of my league right now...will be checking it out! Get those coins out, spread the word about bike awareness!! More cointests to come, so keep a watch on this thread!! Quote Link to comment

+fairyhoney
One thing that I have found to be a BIG NO NO from motorcycle drivers is when they go buzzing in and out of lanes and also going onto the shoulder . Hey, I'm HAPPY for you to have some GREAT news, Roddy It's very refreshing to hear that you have a smile Quote Link to comment
Maine Family
My coin for Tod went to a bike show today and the bikers appreciate what you are all doing. Now it is dropped in a cache down there. I am glad you had some good news and hope the Memorial Ride becomes a reality. That is one think here that keeps bike awareness on people minds. They have a charity memorial ride on the days that was special to him then a big one on the day he was killed. Thanks for the contest and would you just activate the one you was sending to me for me for Tod. Thanks. Quote Link to comment

You have given me a big smile, and I haven't even received the coin yet!! Oh dear tender heart, the coins I sent weren't mystery coins in the sense that you may think - they were just coins out of my personal collection. They were coins that I thought would bring happiness to whomever received them. And mostly to bring HOPE. I want to send out more but am waiting to see if they want them to be activated by themselves or sent through the mail. I know that I sent you a coin - it doesn't sound like you received it though. I sent them out around June 21, 2008 Kindly, 2-Bring-Hope Quote Link to comment

I love the way each trackable is displayed and it's mileage shown, nice!! Would like to get that for my profile!! usyoopers is really setting the bar high, GREAT!! Gotta love that! Who's gonna compete with that?? I know of one person so far... Quote Link to comment
+Crowesfeat30
Ok, here's what ya gotta do: Paste this html into your profile or web page: <a href="http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=3949d8a3-6377-43bf-82e6-07ea6f43d7b9"> <img border="0" src="http://img.geocaching.com/stats/tb.aspx?guid=3949d8a3-6377-43bf-82e6-07ea6f43d7b9" width="110" height="150" /> </a> For each TB find their guid number (the part in red up there). To do this just go to each of the TB's pages. It is part of the URL in the address bar at the top of your browser. Copy ALL the numbers & letters after the equals sign & paste them in the areas I have made red (that is the guid number for my coin). You have to do this for each TB. The only problem is that each TB or coin has to have a picture posted as their default image - doesn't really matter what the picture is but it has to have one or this does not work. Any questons or if you have a ny problems, let me know. Just remember: you have to paste the whole html sequence and change the guid number (twice) for each coin or TB and each TB or coin must have a default image. CF30 Quote Link to comment
+Rockin Roddy
Adoption completed for the coin from CF30, THANKS!! Another great coin spreading the word and a very meaningful coin at that! Not sure I can do all that technical stuff though, will try! Quote Link to comment

+hollora
Fixed a tag (shown in the coin pic) onto Maine Families coin and it was placed in a new cache today. Hope this gets picked up and moving soon. I was a biker myself in the 70s and 80s so appreciate the word of educaction among folks. Never let your guard down - never stop educating and never stop caring. We are in this together! Just wonder when there will be a Geocaching Biker Club formed much like the IAFF MC Club, the Blue Knights and other - people friendly bike clubs. Like GeoBikers or something. I bet it would be easy to get a basic chapter going and then others. I am to old and no longer biking but I bet there might be some interest shown - and hey, start it all with a trackable coin with a new logo! Quote Link to comment

Good news for you WSR...and for those wanting to release coins but aren't able to right now...I'm extending the release deadline to Oct 19th and the race part to Tod's birthday, July 21st 2009! I'm with you Maine Family, I want to get the word out as much as possible, so allowing a longer release time would certainly help!! SO...another month for the releasing of these coins, more time to get some together!! Also gives me a chance to host another mini-cointest or two!!! Speaking of which....winner of this cointest will receive 2 of my Cachestalker coins which will then be released with the bike awareness message (these will count toward final release number and the race). Rules are as usual, I have all say, one guess per 15 minutes, no editing blah blah blah. Now the question: How did my caching partner and friend Tod get his name?? That simple....just tell me how (and please be as specific as possible here). First correct guess gets 2 Cachestalker coins released and adopted to them for this race/release cointest!
