I love P&G’s! But for one cache I got together with some other locals and we hiked in. What are the name and reference number of the cache and who did I go with? GC165V5 - Tally Ho You went with wolyram (the Woly's) AND??? Helo I am back home! Well.. I missed the final! At least I got my milestone today (25 finds), I finally met the first geocachers and spoke to them from close, they discovered my pocket coin (Thank God!!! they are the first! ) and after when we went for a swim, I got an octapus, so tomorrow we will have ouzo!!! 2 of the 4 questions have answered and checked officially! 2 are remainning, but I think Frank & beck got the other one! I know the 4rth question but it Anne was first and only misses the other geocacher who was with you! It is not correct to answer it and win the coin!! Anne tried hard for it and she deserves the win! Anne.... go for it!!! she the logs.... an other geocacher was there, he is a "hiker" , and it was not the first time he was up there... I hope you are keeping NOTEs of what I am posting my friend!!! Sunsetmeadowlark, my friend... thank you for the cointest, it was fun!!! Congrats to the winners!!! ANNE...post!!!! RIDE SAFELY! Oh.... and do not forget your safety phrase!!! .. (That's not for you anne! ) Whew, I'm home! I checked in briefly after fixing the fence and then mom and I headed out for a couple of caches. We got FTF on one! It was a stressful morning so going caching for a bit helped me relax and I'm feeling much better now. There are still 2 questions remaining. Anne, you are very close but not quite there yet on that one. ) GATOULIS, that is very nice of you! Cross the Line is not the correct answer for question #2. The wasp was what scared mom at Cross the Line and neither of us almost fell over because of it or the tick. Keep looking! The correct cache was found some time before Cross the Line. Thank you for the cointest my friend! Anne was mising only a name! It was not correct for me to repost her post, adding the name it was missing and win the coin! It was like stealling a coin and cheating in the cointset, and I do not like both! Anne searched hard...how could I win a coin without trying at all? Even if I was in the finals, It was not right to do that! The best part of a cointest is the fun you have trying to find the answer! so... Except that... Sunsetmeadowlark; I am sorry I could not attend the finals. I did read the questions and started out reading your logs. I love doing that, geocaching is so much different in another country, so I end up reading cache discriptions and watching pictures. That is fun. Unfortunately I had to attent the Dutch forum yesterday and had some work to do there. But the cointest was fun. Thank you. In the Netherlands we had the TT motorraces last weekend. It courses a lot of motorriders to speed on their way home. More then 1900 speedingtickets and tickets for drunk driving were given by the police this year and that is an awfull lot. At the end of each day huge thunderstorms, because of the warm weather. The races were good though and very important, no major accidents. When the weather is bad; double your distance and cut your speed by half. Quote

I have not idea when it is going to be! With only one cache missing from Rhodes (a new one) and only 13 caches in all the other Dodecanese islands.... ....but as we say... Hope dies last, so you never know!!!! Unfortunatelly. I will not be able to go for the copper pin of the Earthcache finds, that is until August, but... Quote

I wish that I could help you with the EarthCaches like I did for a friend in my latest story I think the nearest one would be in Turkey for you to meet the country/states requirement. JohnMac56 was very nice and gifted me a wild ride coin, right about the time I won one from him. These were my first two owned trackables, which is why I even am sort of asking for advice....He placed them in caches in Cali. so far, once hasn't been touched, and one was picked up by a forum regular (who hasn't cached in almost two months) I'd like to see the coins moving, but...beyond nice emails that I could send to the one cacher, really not sure what to do to try to get them at least sort of moving. Any ideas? Also, sorry I missed the last finals. Was up visiting family, came home, logged in, and boom. it was already over. oh well. Edited June 30, 2009 by Ashallond Quote

These were my first two owned trackables, which is why I even am sort of asking for advice....He placed them in caches in Cali. so far, once hasn't been touched, and one was picked up by a forum regular (who hasn't cached in almost two months) I'd like to see the coins moving, but...beyond nice emails that I could send to the one cacher, really not sure what to do to try to get them at least sort of moving. Any ideas? Also, sorry I missed the last finals. Was up visiting family, came home, logged in, and boom. it was already over. oh well. I'll see if I can't find the one in the cache and move it along (maybe get it today!!). You may want to send a quick polite note to the cacher who has the other one, I know him and he won't mind if you politely ask him to place it into a cache... Quote

Inside I found a real treasure!!!!!! A huge piece of petrified wood, smaller lieces of petrified wood, Some USA coins I didn't have!! (WOW! the 1 Dollar coins are huge!!!), some beautiful casino tokens!!! (I am collecting these things!!! How did you know??? I never mention them that I keep them as part of currency!!! WOW!!), and 3 special versions of the Look twice coins (black, orange, white) of bicycle version and 3 of the same colors of the motorcycle versions, total 6 special coins!!!!!!! The postage was a lot of money!!!! Oh!!! Thank you sooooooo much!!!!!! how I will ever.... I need to say a special thank you Robert because you made me smile today which is a bad day for me, and because with all this I will have something to do! One of my little parrots died today! Frixos, his name was ok the whole morning! when I went out a couple of hours ago, he was on the ground of the cage, and couldn't even walk straight! I took him in my hands, but nothing! His heart was going like crazy! I tried to give him some water but nothing! he made a small sound, he flaped hiw winds as a last goodbue & opened his wings to go to paradise! He died almost in my hands! Elli, my female parrot who was in the same cage, went near him to see.... it was.... So...this is not a good time for me!!! Bon voyage little Frixos!!! If you do a little research, you might find the names of some Cachers near your coin, and send them an invitation to go grab your coin to move. I'm hoping to get the coins from my cointest shipped tomorrow but if not they'll be shipped no later than Monday. The two that I am starting for the winners will hopefully be released next week on our way down to mine sapphires. I won't be doing a lot of caching this trip but hope to at least find a cache big enough to place these in. I figured they'd travel farther/faster if I can start them along the interstate instead of in our valley where coins tend to just circle. JohnMac56 was very nice and gifted me a wild ride coin, right about the time I won one from him. These were my first two owned trackables, which is why I even am sort of asking for advice....He placed them in caches in Cali. so far, once hasn't been touched, and one was picked up by a forum regular (who hasn't cached in almost two months) I'd like to see the coins moving, but...beyond nice emails that I could send to the one cacher, really not sure what to do to try to get them at least sort of moving. Any ideas? Also, sorry I missed the last finals. Was up visiting family, came home, logged in, and boom. it was already over. oh well. I'll see if I can't find the one in the cache and move it along (maybe get it today!!). You may want to send a quick polite note to the cacher who has the other one, I know him and he won't mind if you politely ask him to place it into a cache... Sorry to be the one to report bad news, but the coin that I placed into a cache for Ashallond is missing. Not only is the coin missing, but so is the cache and the place where the cache was hidden. I went up to grab the coin out of the cache since it hasn't moved for almost two months and found a lot of new construction at the cache site. One part of the construction was the removal of the structure that the cache was hidden in. Since I originally placed the coin in the cache I feel somewhat responsible, so I have mailed a replacement coin to Ashallond today. It is another Todies Wild Ride coin and it should arrive in a few days... Quote

Many times when there is a bad Blowout on one tire, the closest one to it will get damaged so that it too will soon blowout. The damage can come from the violence of the first explosion, or can be caused by debris or other parts damaged by the first. another way is just by the first blown tire starting to rub the other and causing friction, and then overheating(and expansion) of the good one. This poor driver had one Blowout, and while limping to a safe parking spot, the tire next to that one blew out too(there are 18 tires on the truck). These two were the very rear, on the passenger side. She had been waiting 2 hours for the repair truck by the time I arrived. Before I left, the repair man was almost done! Do they not have pressure gauges on truck tires now? It seems like it would be helpful to know when one of your tires is GOING flat, as opposed to having them shred out.
