The mailbox thread has an average of 12.50 posts per day (15917 since it opened 10/17/2005). The TWR thread has an average of 44.25 posts per day (11106 since it opened 8/19/2008). Pretty impressive. The mailbox thread has an average of 12.50 posts per day (15917 since it opened 10/17/2005). The TWR thread has an average of 44.25 posts per day (11106 since it opened 8/19/2008). Pretty impressive. Perhaps someone can use this to figure out what date the TWR thread will PASS the mailbox thread? (The pass will be made safely, with signals, of course!) A little basic algebra... y=mx +b for both equations. TWR y=44.25x + 11106 Mailbox y=12.5x +15917 set the two equations equal to each other and solve for x and you get x = 151.5275591 days until they meet assuming the same rate and both threads will have 17811 posts so the date of intersection should be September 28th I think (271st day of the year) Of course that assumes a consistent posting rate in both forums. Now we could push to have the TWR thread overtake the Mailbox by the 1 year (August 19th) mark of the thread opening if we push the posting to 55.75 posts per day. I think those would work nicely!! I went out again this am to study it now that I'm not so mad. There will be some work and less flowers but it will ok. Though if it keeps up at this rate, in 2 years the rocks will be all gone. I have a friend who's yard is completely filled with rocks that she has collected one by one, either by gathering them herself, or brought to her as gifts. I have some special rocks that I picked up today and you can have one or two for your yard!! Quote Link to comment

While looking for the right spot, something caught my eye that I took as a sign to look for a hiding place near it, what caught my eye? 5. How many lizards did I see while I was there? 6. According to my GPS, what was the temperature when I was at the Cache site? 7. How many other Trucks were parked at the pullout while I was there? What is the name of the nearest Cache to the place where I was gathering "Rocks" today? 10. What kind of "Rocks" was I gathering? 11.
