This is part of what it said. I really believe this cause is something that I personally and I'm sure tens of thousands of other drivers need to be made more aware of. Ir really hits home when you can put a face with the names we unfortunately hear to often on the news. For that reason I'm hoping to continue releasing 2 or 3 a month until Rod runs out of coins. Would you like me to send you an E-Mail with the reference numbers of any I release in the future or is this just a short term list you're working on? I said to send me an email because this wasn't a short term thing. I can see people are talking about bike awareness and more are paying attention but all it takes is one death to remind us that there is still more to be done. Bud can make challenging caches!) but all the caches we found were large enough for travelers, that made me happy We did maintenance on one of our own caches to start the day, dropping these 2 coins- TB1YQR7 TB1YQRM We tried for a FTF here but were foiled by 1/2 hour! Big enough for a traveler though! ANYWAYS, we had a fun day, but MAN, yesterday was sunshine and 70's, today was 40's and raining (and windy)...NASTY!! I remember I owe Team CeDo a coin, info coming soon, my friends!!! You can't read his story. So tonight I did some translation. I hope it is good enough because my friend apperently is working as a volunteer at a schoolprogramme that is very much worth while. This is what's in his missions. "Goal: To remind people to watch out in traffic and pay extra attention to the more vulnerable traffic participants. Children now a days gain too little experience in traffic. The first years of their lives they mostly spend on a carrier-tricycle or on the back seat of a car. There comes a time that they need to become independent traffic participants. It is sad to have to conclude this sometimes ends up with tragic results. The Royal Dutch Automobile Club (AMWB) has introduced an additional school programme to teach children to deal with busy traffic situations. This programme is called “Streetwise”. It has been developed for Children in four different age categories and makes the children aware of the dangers they meet in every day traffic. In, often spectacular, practical lessons they learn by playing, to deal with all kinds of hazards and every day risks on the roads. Schools and community counsels are very enthusiastic about this programme. Like the ANWB, everybody acknowledges the social importance of introducing traffic awareness with children at an early age. That is not just another statement. Further studies into this project show that the teaching method was very much valued. The different programs for children between the ages of 6 until 12 were rated an average of 8.3 points on a scale of 10. This rating was accompanied with the note that the programme is: important, practical and highly valuable. Of course this encourages us to go on presenting the programme. This year a new category; called “Toet, Toet” (Honk, Honk), for the 4 and 5 year old children will be added. This will be mainly focused on traffic sounds- and signals and crossing the street. Remember an old cointest of Robert, when we had to guess what did he saw that had never seen (the answer was an armandilo), and I was guessing meterorites etc? In my guess about meteorite, I posted that my dream was to find one, but it was almost impossible to find one in an island, and most probably if something fell from the scy, would fell in the sea! Well... I was wrong!!!! Mirracles can happen!!! I found a meteorite! Ok, a small one but it is one!!! I found it in a field that all rockes were in grey, or white in color except this small stone! It was black!!! I took it with me and when I talked about it with a friend he told me that it was probably a tektite! today I went to see him and took the stone with me! No! It is not a tektite! His tektites were a lot different!!! He had never seen a stone meteorite, but only a metal one! WOW!!!! My stone has the angles showing how it entered in the Earth's atmosphare! Remember an old cointest of Robert, when we had to guess what did he saw that had never seen (the answer was an armandilo), and I was guessing meterorites etc? In my guess about meteorite, I posted that my dream was to find one, but it was almost impossible to find one in an island, and most probably if something fell from the scy, would fell in the sea! Well... I was wrong!!!! Mirracles can happen!!! I found a meteorite! Ok, a small one but it is one!!! I found it in a field that all rockes were in grey, or white in color except this small stone! It was black!!! I took it with me and when I talked about it with a friend he told me that it was probably a tektite! today I went to see him and took the stone with me! No! It is not a tektite! His tektites were a lot different!!! He had never seen a stone meteorite, but only a metal one! WOW!!!! My stone has the angles showing how it entered in the Earth's atmosphare! I completely forgot again and just kind of remembered suddenly...the problems of not wearing a helmet when I first started riding mountain bikes...a crash and head injuries which were made worse when hit by a car a few years later!! Actually they are scans, I do not have a digital camera...yet, so they are not very clear, but you will get an idea! You can even see the angles! the shape is like a boat! It is not lava, (I have lava from Santorini), and it is not tektite! The size is about 38mm. Is that about 1.5 inches? Ride safely!! Quote Link to comment

So, we go into his office and he asks me to draw a plan of the accident. He didn't even look at it before saying that I was at fault- and even if the guy was driving on the wrong side of the road (my side) it was still my fault. We had to clarify this with him- so basically it is legal to drive on the wrong side of the road, hit someone, cause property damage and personal injury- and it's not your fault. Yes says the lawyer. WTF says we and rants our way out of the office. David gets home and shoots off an email to the head office of the insurance saying that obviously we were mis-sold the insurance as it's worthless and we would like a full refund. I go out cleaning. I get back to the flat and my phone is ringing- someone from the insurance company asking to speak to David. She rants and raves down the phone saying that she should have been contacted first- she is the Head of the legal department. She was so angry that the local insurance guy didn't advise us correctly- and very angry that he had told us to go to a local lawyer! Both of the emails David had sent had been forwarded to her. And the best bit? THE OTHER GUY HAS ADMITTED LIABILITY AND NEGLIGENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have to contact his insurance company and get the forms to fill out- I can claim for my bike to be replaced and any personal injuries, like the shock I suffered as a result of the accident!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I will be biking again soon- and will take my local test to prove how safe a driver I am Keep safe on the roads today and remember that road rash is not a sign of how cool you are- its a sign of stupidity!
