My niece showed me the way she has to cycle to go to school. Every day about 7,5 miles. Mostly on special cycling path's. Near her school the road is a bit narrow and there are no cycling path's. But there are blossoming little bulb flowers, called Crocusses. I just Thought I wouls show you to get the springfeeling again. Bad weather: Double your distance and cut your speed by half!! I'm working on a website, if I want to continue to spread bike awareness, I think I should have one! Anyone know of any cheap places to get a domain name? I'm not sure if I can swing a site though, even if I do buy one, setting the site up might be beyond my ability...time will tell! I talked with a banner maker and am having a banner made which will say LOOK TWICE, save a life and have a motorcycle on either side of the saying! This one-sided banner isn't cheap, but I will proudly display it in my yard. The banners, white with black lettering and pictures, will run around $35 each, if anyone is interested, let me know! Remember, spreading bike awareness is something we can all do with little effort and a bit of money. I am also looking to have some window clings made! Also...SHIRTS!! I am talking with my friend about making some shirts, they will say Todie's Wild Ride on the chest and have my avatar (will this turn into my TWR logo???) on the back. Yes, deer are another of the hazards we bikers must watch out for, this is a reason many don't ride after dark! Deer, or ANY animal, can be a real danger for bikers, this is why I stress that the drivers need to stay off the center line so we have an out, just in case of such emergencies! I "met" a young Craotian boy on facebook yesterday (we both play Mafia Wars and I recruited him into my mafia), I'm trying to get him into the TWR race....will update this progress!! Quote

A cointest should be coming along soon, we need some life in here!! I'll have to think about this a bit, but keep a watch! Also, anyone wanting to run their own cointest, we're open and ready!! Check out Shindigz for a banner, they might be cheaper and the quality of the one I got is good. I use Zeonhost for my website. I have very little downtime, the prices are fair ($15 domain registration and I pay $16/mo for hosting but their basic package is less). You might also check into Cafepress for shirts, mugs, hats, etc. No upfront costs there and they handle all of the sales/shipping, you just do the promotion. Quote

These are $ .25 each, so I might buy up around 1000 of them and just hand them out at our events, put them on tables at events like the MWGB and hand them out when I do bike awareness presentations. I like hats, so I might do a hat as well, never thought of that one! Quote

If you can read this, the ol' lady fell off. ...Gas, Bass or Sasafrass, nobody rides for free. ... My other bike is a whatever too!! You could make one that says .... Ask Me About Todie's Wild Ride ... or LooK Twice For Riders , or any of the saftey messages or even In Memory Of Todie ... or Never Forget ...to ride safe. You get the idea .... OOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! And people would come up and say "What's Todie's Wild Ride ?" Can't you hear the stories now. And if someone asks you can give them a Bumper Sticker. It's about Spreading The Message............... The MSF RiderCourses use the strategy of Search, Evaluate, Execute (S.E.E.) to describe the decision-making process that should be used while riding. Our eyes do the searching and our brain does the evaluating. But do we perceive accurately? I'm trying to find a visual that helps to understand this, but I need to take a ride into towna nd cache (ooops, cash) my unemployment check...it came a day early this time!!!
