Well. I finally got my new Motorcycle home today. Its' a 2009 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I went on a short 43 mile ride this afternoon with her. And I decided to name her "Betty". The picture is of me on the bike, that is not how I ride though. Helmet and Jacket for me are a must. I was just sitting on it for the picture. Lots of motorcycles on the road today, and alot more will soon be hitting the roads with the beautiful weather we are having here lately. So.....here is the picture, just wanted to share!!!

 

NICE!! Look Twice For Big Trucks! At work, the Driver Managers have been sending out safety reminders about traffic and weather conditions, and I will be working with mine to incorporate some of the messages we have been discussing here. She will be sending some of our messages to all of her 40+ drivers, and it may end up reaching all 800 trucks from our terminal??

But I didn't explain, did I. It was kind of an emotional thing not to log caches after Reintje died. I felt a bit lost and weard caching without him. So I only logged when I had a coin to drop or to move.

 

It has to change now because I am starting a little project on the Dutch site to make the search for handicapted cachers easyer. That is I opened a topic with questions about the needs there might be and it is turning in to a big project now.

I will also start visiting events this year and start going geocaching with other cachers. (I always went alone)

So not logging was kind of an emotional, "being alone with Reintjes spirit thing".

This is our first Geo coin that we have found. We were out Geocaching with our parents from California L3-Geo when we all found the cache that had your coin. We decided to let them find it so it could travel to California. i know we lost the sec title in 1984 due to going on probation with coach galen hall. i am not sure about 1990. by then we had a good coach, but maybe we were still on probation. i do know that we get our first sec title in a long time while i was there with coach steve spurrier.

 

we also won our first national football title in 1996. that was exciting.
