Good thing I was at a slow speed and could stand up to get rid of it. I pulled up next to the car at the next intersection and said a few choice words to the person who threw it out. My grandson and I was out walking and a friend of mine who drives a big truck, blew his air horn and it got stuck. Now that is loud. He had to drive it that way because he couldn't get it to shut off. Quote

I solved this problem with $400...bought a torch light (wish I could remember the manufacturer). The light was as bright as a headlight, I ALWAYS got the other person to dim their lights (they likely thought I was a motorcycle). The battery pack was made to fit in the water bottle carraige, it lasted for 4 hours of continuous use!! I know, $400 is tough to come by (I'd be out of luck these days lol), but the cheaper ones work fairly well also. Having enough light to light up the side of the road over the wash of the oncoming vehicle is IMPORTANT! Quote

They ride their bikes on our road all the time (granted, they both still have training wheels on theirs ). Thanks also for releasing our coin into the wild for us! It will be really fun for us to track. The girls are saying now that they want to ride their bikes to wherever the cache they are released to is so they can see it! Look Twice and you might save another life. This is another reason the biker should always be prepared! I solved this problem with $400...bought a torch light (wish I could remember the manufacturer). The light was as bright as a headlight, I ALWAYS got the other person to dim their lights (they likely thought I was a motorcycle). The battery pack was made to fit in the water bottle carraige, it lasted for 4 hours of continuous use!! I know, $400 is tough to come by (I'd be out of luck these days lol), but the cheaper ones work fairly well also. Having enough light to light up the side of the road over the wash of the oncoming vehicle is IMPORTANT! If I do happen to have to ride at night I put on my really reflective bright neon yellow wind breaker. It reflects perfectly. Dim the lights for both the bicyclist and the world. Your only creating more light pollution and blinding a cyclist at the same time. Quote
