2) KAboom and I always make a competition of who finds the most (Tod was always included, but rarely won lol), who won the competition? it was a tie

3) We found something while out, what did we find? you found in a cache a knife, a can of beer and a bong!

4) What (if anything) did we do about our findings?? Kaboom kept the knife and you took the beer and the bong out of the cache! you put the bong and beer in a spot a ways from the cache.

5) The PN-40 acted strangely, I have yet to figure it out. What did it do? but a cache you didn't find was logged as found with notes of another cache you did find.

6) What is our next goal caching wise??

We did find 6 even though I could only log 5, we did tie even though the numbers might not show it! The bong and stuff was placed in a grouping of trees, the owner has been contacted and will remove the bad stuff, THANKFULLY!! And yes, the PN-40 logged a cache we didn't really search for because, for some reason, the GPS deleted the description of the cache. After moving on, we found the next cache, but it said we found the one we didn't look for (I didn't notice this until I uploaded the field notes). I even put in notes to help remember the find (like that helped lol), those notes were in the notes for the unfound cache??

And, although I have said a few times that we're planning on clearing the GPS before loading any more on, our goal is to get 1500 by MWGB...we've got a bit of work ahead of us!!

I asked about the missing cache mystery in the DeLorme forums today and was surprised someone had also possibly had this happen to them (I say possibly because it might have been pilot errer). I was even more amazed when someone else came in and asked me a question which shined some new light on the mystery.

The poster asked me if the cache showed up in the found caches file in my GPS, so I checked and sure enough, there it was!!! I now get to log the cache we found and the race can officially called a tie!!! You learn something new every day! I still don't know how the PN-40 mixed it all up, but I'll know where to look should it happen again!!

So, how’re your coins doin’?

One of my coins has gone only 17 miles. I didn't realize it was only a few hundred feet from a cache I did the other day or else I would have gone and rescued it. The longest one has gone almost 13000 miles. Several have gone 2000 miles but I think I have to remind a few cachers to drop a couple of them off. Unfortunately Riley the Geodog's coin is MIA.

I've had some move far and wide, then I've seen some go missing....but one lucky coin was chosen to go with MaxB and Warren on their little trip in honor of them moving 16,200 TBs. I heard something about rainforests and such, YEAH!!!

Coin info came in today, we're really close to our money goal for 500 coins! The artwork is AWESOME, it has been approved and we're awaiting the next step of the way!! I will post coin pics soon (I haven't even sent it to all investors yet...I'm slacking these days!).

Oh, and I am really proud of all the work everyone has done, these coins moving really give me reason to be happy! The feedback on the project thus far is AWESOME, I hear we're reaching many many people, some people see our messages more than a few times!!

TB2QA7D Look Twice Geocoin: Give Me Some Space

Whenever we ride our bicycles on the highway it's a terrifying experience. Cars and trucks kick up debris that hurts like you-know-what when it hits you, garbage and ruts on the road are hard to swerve around (there must be a billion dead bungy cords on the highways), and the wind-wake from big trucks can blow you right off the road. If vehicles could change lanes when they pass and leave us lots of space we'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for the cointest DJ J Rock; it will be fun watching this coin travel.

I didn't know about the windshield wipers. Puddles yes but not the gravel and the wipers. What else do we do that we don't know about.

the water you throw off when using your windshield wiper fluid etc!!

Oops, I did that once, and the poor guy didn't even have a face sheild...He wasn't too happy(and he let me know too) but I learned something that day.

How about, don't throw your cigarette out the window. I had one come back and land in my lap. Good thing I was at a slow speed and could stand up to get rid of it. I pulled up next to the car at the next intersection and said a few choice words to the person who threw it out. All I got in return was a nasty glare from them.
