It used to be that Garmin was the only company that could download the cache straight to the unit from the cache page...not anymore!! As of today, DeLorme owners can now do this as well!!!! I think we're coming closer to the promised goodies DeLorme has been working on!! Opalsn Yesterday we had record high temps so I went out and got the caches I thought I needed to make the meet & greet the milestone. Since I stilll haven't caught up with my logging I didn't realize my mistake until today so I needed to get one more. Of course today it is pouring rain and cold. The first one I didn't find as it was getting dark so I went for a lamppost and there it was! The meet & greet is a monthly affair so there isn't a raffle table or anything but there were several with milestones tonight. My friend Nurse Nanna and I have a little dance kind of like an Irish jig we do when we make one and there was a guy there with #200. He did it with me and I'm sure he didn't know what happened. LOL Who knows he may never again announce a milestone at an event!! I have a lowrance and I hear they are coming out with a cool new unit too! OK, here's the news for the day: Sally and I are wanting to put together a new coin (we've been talking about this, I have said a bit about it...this is NOT the coin already being made), the problem is, I am also going to need to have a coin made for the Lazy Hayes Days event (if I am going to make one for the event that is). My money is going to be SERIOUSLY tight (tighter than now...OUCH!!!), so we have thought to ask here if anyone would be interested to help fund the coin. The coin will be a special coin in a few ways...it'll honor Tod, it'll honor TWR AND it'll be a fund-raiser for an upcoming bike awareness project I am planning right now! NOTE: This coin would be MY OWN IDEA, I am not going to ask for input on this. I wanted all to understand this from the start! The plan is, we will ask for people to help with the up-front costs (we're thinking we might need 4 more contributors at $200 each), get the coin made, sell the coin and then return everyone's money. Now, of course we'd also want to THANK you for the use of the money (it could be a few months of the money being tied up), so we thought to maybe have a special metal/edition made solely for those who pitch in!! I know, this still isn't much and hopefully we can add a little extra incentive in as well, but we can't do too much more as we are trying to raise money for the bike awareness project (I'll cover this in greater depth when I have more to share)! The coin wouldn't be made very fast, but we'd like to get it before the MWGB at the latest!!! I have already talked to a few mints and one really shot us a golden deal, but we're working on a few more to see if anyone else wants to offer us anything sweeter!! Now, as I said, we'd only need maybe 4 or 5 more investors, if interested, please email me privately and we'll discuss this more!! We'd sell the coins, pay back all who invest and give you a bit of incentive. PLEASE don't feel like you need to do this, if you are tight on money, PLEASE don't volunteer! I would feel very badly knowing I asked for help and then caused any hardships!! We already have a few investors, we are looking for just a few more to lessen the load on all of us involved! No matter where I put that link it messes up everything after placing the link. I have spent two days trying to figure out the problem and it is that link. I take out the link and everything works fine. Put the link in and it deletes everything or makes everything a link to the page. Makes even my signature go to his page. Roddy tried it and it deleted the coins and total. Nope I tried putting his coin with the link and when I moved it higher it deleted everything after the link. Did I do something wrong? Is there a possibility that a post has a limited number for links or something? ...Just like in photos??? In case this can not be solved, well... it is ok.... do not put my pocket coin in the list! Just mention it at the total... No worries! I thought there might be a limit and there might be but that isn't the problem here. Once I took out that particular link I could add more to the list. Remember several days when you got deleted that was the start of it. There is probably just a code problem on that page. Maybe the moderator can fix it for me. I do not know what the issue was, but let me know if anything else happens next time. But yours did the same as it did with me. The S in Gatoulis is gone and everything else including my signature is a link now. Then the coins and the totals is gone. That is the problem.
