I really looked forward to this thread everymorning. What Happened?

Where is everyone? Are we letting this thread fade because someone may not have understood the reason for it ? Should we give up on Rod or Tod or KaBoom and the messages we are trying to convey? Can someone, who is a regular poster on this thread, help me understand what happened? I'm confused.

Don't worry, there will be breaks from time to time. When there's a game going it will be hopping in here. I've been asleep for a long time now, and ready to finish my short trip, but here are some questions to spice things up.

1. What was the total number of miles I drove?

2. How many total hours did I spend driving on the trip? Look up the "FMCSR" for help on this.

3. What state Capitol did I stop in for coffee and a sandwich.

4. What was my average speed while driving for the entire trip(Miles divided by Time = xx.xx MPH)

789 miles

10 hour 48 minutes

Washington

80 mph

Oke..i understand ..you need a good laugh :):D:D

I've received the email from Eartha and am figuring how I should respond. From the looks, they would like us to not have any of the catch-phrase cointests unless we limit the amount of entries to1 or 2 per cointest....something that'll really limit the fun and lessen the amount of participants. I understand where they are coming from, we shouldn't let the cointests last more than a few days, but limiting the amount of entries will diminish the effectiveness of the postings IMHO. Maybe limit to 1 post per hour or so might be a good limit, will have to chat with Eartha and see if we can find a bit of common ground!

Also, Eartha would like that any cointests with a Q/A approach be limited to 48-72 hours (I'm guessing if no one answers the questions, we just pick a winner??). One thing I think we could do is to have the Q/A cointest mixed in with the catch-phrase cointest, making it an "answer this andpost this" type cointest, this would be a good alternative...but I hate to just ask a question which isn't necessarily topic related?

Anyways, Got some things to take care of this morning and then will come back and get to work!!! Anyone with ideas, please shoot them at me!

I thought that would be harder??? Please send your address.

I actually got it???????????????? WOW!!!

Thank you Robert

Oops, there I go screwing it up again. Please send your address, but there is one state missing, and it's a state that might not make sense. If anyone else can post the list with the missing State included, you too can win a coin.

Looking for the whole list, in order, with the MISSING state included.

See, SEE?? This is what happens when I ask a question without having breakfast first. the List is Kinda missing TWO STATES, since one is MISSING, and one that's listed will have to be listed TWICE. It's not my fault...I had these all written down days ago, but someone else posted a few Games before I got to ask these questions, so I was going on memory when I asked the question. I guess my memory isn't that good. Don't fret on the other questions...I can check my Logbook for those answers

1. 1,625

2. 28 hours

3. Cheyenne, Wyoming

4. 58mph

These are not correct, but I'm going to use them as an example to show again the form my speed should take in a correct answer...1,625 miles divided by 28 hours would be 58.04 MPH.

I will be looking for two points after the decimal, which will be easy if the Miles and Hours are correct.

That's the correct List of States, in the correct oder! Did I mention that they need to be spelled correctly?? Just Kidding. please send your address!!!

The error was that I forgot to include my little side trip into another state where they wanted me to get fuel. This will complicate the job for those who think they can Calculate my travel distance. The time where I missed my exit and had to circle around will make it harder too. Has anyone read the FMCSR to see the correct way for reporting Hours of Driving???

LOL!!!!!!!

Come on you don't have to do that! fair is fair

No, No. If I call you a winner, then You're a winner. Even if I'm a loser. Now we still need to see answers for the other questions. I'd love to see some Safety Massages with them too. I am off to drive in a short few minutes and I don't know if I'll have access tonight or not, so Good Luck to you all...
