Wear your helmet Your brain may thank you.

5. How many lizards did I see while I was there?

27.5 Who knows what happened to the other half. Divorce maybe?

The lizards around here if You catch them by the tail that is all you have is a tail. Defensive move.

Don't they also sometimes drop their tail in confusion if you catch then another way(like...by the head)

Ding! Ding! I stopped near one of my favorite Caches to pick up some more Petrified Wood. I like to pick up tiny peices that can fit in a film can in a baggie with a scrap of paper stamped "Petrified Wood". I made the stamp myself, and the paper scraps are the trimmings from making GameCards from my other games. The only cost to me is the Baggie, and a little time. They're often the first thing taken from a Cache after I visit, so I guess people like them. In larger Caches, I might leave several of those, or maybe some bigger ones. I hope to do the same thing with other interesting Mineral Samples later. Today I grabbed some bigger pieces(several pounds each) that are really cool.

Please send in an emeil for the Drawing folder.

When I was young, I went to California with my Dad and Uncle. We drove across country and even into Mexico to see a bullfight. (I hated the bull fight!!! and the stupid people cheering on the matador.)

Anyway, We drove through the Painted Desert and Went through The Petrified Forest and There was some caves with acient drawings . They called them Newspaper Rocks, I believe. At the end of the petrified forest was, of course a gift shop, in which I bought a very small piece of Petrified wood for 5.00 dollars.

When we left and got back on the main road , we found PETRIFIED WOOD stands where home owners, that had petrified wood on there properties would sell pieces. THis time, for 5.00 dollars, I got one the size of a football. I had that piece for years in my room. It came up missing a few years later. I don't know where it went? I know That I didn't move it. If you have never seen petrified wood, look it up. IT"S BEAUTIFUL. Full of color and depth that you can't imagine. I wish I had it still. If you find an extra piece Robert, please send it my way.

Don't be petrified to drive, just be smart!!!

Have you looked for it in Beverly's yard??

LOL Somebody was "looking" that's for sure........

8. I'm on my way from Tolleson, AZ(on 4/30) to Corinne, UT(on 5/2)...Where am I tonight?

Kanab, UT so that could be where you stayed the night of April 30.

I really don't want to go out and mow ;)

Ding! Ding! Please send in an email for the Drawing Folder.

When I get sent this way, I almost always spend the night in Panguitch, UT since there's a truck stop there with WiFi, and cheap showers. Since I spent time picking up Petrified Wood though, I wasn't able to get all the way there. I spent the night in Kanab, and found a WiFi signal from "Grandma Tina's cafe"! I'll have to add her to my list of good stopping places!! There was also free McWiFi available around the corner.

Some info about a racer coin!

Todie's Wild Ride: "Look Twice For Bikes, You Could Save A Life" coin that belongs to me, was droped in a cache on 12/28/2008! It is missing from that time! I haven't placed the coin in an unknown place yet, but I am afraid that it is lost of ever! It is not in the cache! Is that the first lost coin of the race?

Look Twice and no texting while driving!

1. According to my GPS, what is the elevation of my new Cache?

1556 feet.

I saw a video the other day of a bus driver texting while on the freeway and he crashing into the car in front of him which was then pushed into the car in front of that. There was a camera on board the bus that captured the entire thing. I don't think anybody died but there handicapped people on that bus.....

I am so sorry LadyBee for your lost coins too! ;)

Oh! what a crash! Some days ago I saw an unbelievable buss driver!!!

I was with my father so he saw it too! He was speaking with his mobile phoe (no hands free etc!!!), In his other hand he was holding a sandwich and he was trying to handle the steering wheel with his knees!!!! The bus had people inside, and it was moving!!!!! JESUS!!!

We were on my fathers tiny motorbike and we stopped until the bus paas from there! we were so afraid that the guy didn;t have complete control of the bus!! How he could???

I believe that busses, trucks etc, are not so easy to handle! they are not like normal cars....right?? These things that the buss driver was doing, were not only illegal and dangerous but..... :D

Drive Safe.

Todie's Wild Ride coin was thunk up by Rochin Roddy.

Opalsns

a couple of thoughts here...You only need filler when you want to answer the same question in a row, and I meant one of the Coins in the race.

so...If you want to keep answering the same question, then between your posts, please look up something from one of the Coins that are in the race, and tell us about it.

While I was out gathering the Petrified Wood, I was thinking about Beverly and the missing rocks from her garden(and how she could use some new ones), and about Nikos and his recently aquired meteotite(and that they probably don't have Petrified Wood on his Island). Now who is the person that I owe a prize to that might include little pieces of Petrified Wood???
