Remind me to make note next time, that was a chore!!! Do you guys realize we started the Pay Attention cointest clear back on page 80?? That's 26 pages ago! I counted 1303 posts from the start to the Eartha post, man, you guys were serious about having fun!! I am looking for my coins as I type and will have a list of winners drawn soon. KAboom decided he could go visit his mom for the weekend (a braver soul than I), so I'll have to do all the work myself I suppose!! By posting his text in white, Rod made sure that only those who were paying attention would see it, otherwise it would look like a blank post. I am certainly agreeing that the message is important and should be included in posts. I am going to work with Rockin Roddy on the side about how we can make this work, however, I am caching this weekend, and would like to do this next week. Keep on playing, and we'll work on ideas. I couldn't for the life of me even find the post that first brought up this particular mini-cointest, for all the repetitive posts. I couldn't see the forset for the trees. I have some ideas I'll run by you Rod, and we'll work together, but I would like a weekend away from being inside. My GPS is getting lonely and I want to go see the forest and the trees. Here are the posts which started the current Phrase Posting Game. I can understand the GS perspective on wanting the posts to be more than repeating a Catchphrase, so hopefully the compromise worked out will be that the Current Safety Phrase must also be with some other relevent post like the "question/answer, + post the phrase". I guess that if one posts the current Safety Phrase, and includes Any Statement on the status of any coin in the race, then that might be acceptable?? I'm looking forward to the Compromise. ANYONE PAYING ATTENTION?? Here's the next cointest....the 20th person to post "Pay attention, save a life"! Only rules, no back to back posting UNLESS...you can post back to back if you're the only one paying attention enough to catch this, but only after a 5 minute wait!! GO.. So far I have lost 4 and (re)found 1. I hope the people who take the coins read the infosheets. I usely print large stories to go with the coin. It is another way of spreading Bike Awareness. It has a nice bit of poetry in the description that just seems to apply well to the mission. Currently it only has 105 miles on it. It seems to have stalled somewhere in Michigan but I am guessing it will move once the weather improves there. Thanks for the cointest opalsns.
