just a sad reminder to slow down and take it easy on the roads. in the area where i live there has been 2 car accidents in less than a month. a woman died in a car accident that only involved her car, and in another accident just 2 days ago, a teenager died and one seriously injured and two other teens miner injuries, in a single car crash.

lets keep this road safety agenda bumped to the top and lets not forget the loss of young lives is such a waste.

I agree with you Paganfrog, let's not forget to take care on those slippery roads. A lot of accidents in Holland too, because of the roads of the bridges freezing at night.

So everyone please be extra carefull these day's.

Last picture, I have to go

(no, Iam not going to skate, I am handicapt) Maybe I will take some more photo's this afternoon, but I bet you've all seen to much skating people now. I am sorry, but it is kind of a fever over here with a really nice national atmosphere.

Yes, it is sad to have to send out a message we should all know and practice regularly, but that's life! In a thread about electric box type hides, we are discussing dangers and driving keeps popping up, I think the reason we don't think of driving as all that dangerous is because we get too accustomed to the fact that we drive everywhere and feel we're in control of the situation. The fact is, any one of su could be killed at any time due to a simple mistake...BE CAREFUL, BE ALERT and BE SAFE!

Sparticus, I hope you picked some really memorable hides for your milestone...good hunting, my friend!

And....

GOOD MORNING ALL!!

Well said R R, as a health and safety coordinator I ran a safe driving seminar this year and the grumbling I got. But I also included a short Q & A after; it was amazing how many had forgotten the rules of the road. I even got a few who said they had not thought of the rules or just became entrenched in their driving habits that they did not know they were being careless. The point was well taken.

Best of luck to ya Sparticus! The snow, cold and ice are hampering our cache outings lately. We are working on a series of caches that use the cross country ski trails here in the EUP, they will be very winter friendly!(if you cross country ski!) They should be up and running by the first of the new year.
