Nobody knows why the cache is called that way. Its near here; This small forest is called": "Little Switserland". Nobody knows why it is called that way either. I saw them without helmets and wondered why....too bad!! A friend of mine was going with a lady who had a young boy (about 10 or so, maybe 12), he was riding with friends around the annual fair in our city. He somehow either was hit by a car or wiped out into a car and wasn't wearing a helmet. The only injuries he sustained was severe brain damage and is still affected to this day. I saw this energenic and adventurous boy a few years ago, he was around 20 at the time...in a wheelchair, no real body control and still in bad shape. He went from being a great kid who was taking karate, always liked to climb trees and be adventurous...to a young man in a wheelchair. Maybe because we were a cycling nation before the helmets came. Your guess is as good as mine. The only cyclists with Helmets on are tourists. They won't start wearing helmets either; the Dutch. They are kind of haert haeded on that one. Motorcyclist have to wear helmets by law though. At least thats something. Respect those around you, WATCH for all users of the roads!
