+The Blorenges
Where was the rain? Here Our trip to Flatholm had to be cancelled, unfortunately: I wouldn't have wanted to be out on the Bristol Channel in the weather conditions we had on Saturday afternoon. Never mind - another time! MrsB Edited August 17, 2008 by The Blorenges Quote Link to comment

reelcutter
Gripe 1 they debated this on radio 2. The theory is that if the weather turns out nice you will see this as a bonus and not gripe and blame the met office. Gripe 2 Gripe 3 get used to it Quote Link to comment

+careygang
We've had several Thunderstorm warnings in recent weeks for Clark County (bottom bit of Nevada), but luckily they've all been out of the Las Vegas valley on the surrounding mountains. It does mean you have to be careful on the desert caches and even some of the urban ones if the are in the recreational storm drains. When a warning is issued by the National Weather Service, the TV company put a banner warning across the top of the TV picture. Quote Link to comment
