GSAK question

I am trying to use GSAK for the first time. I have 417 caches I am trying to send to my GPSr, Garmin Vista HCX, but it says I am sending 502. Is it going to send 417 or 502? Also I was told to change the POI symbols to open and closed treasure chests, but I cannot figure out how.

Do you have 417 caches, plus additional (child) waypoints for a total of 502. The Hcx will take 1000 anyway.

 

Poi symbols are a little harder to explain. Do you have the bipmaps in your POI folder? You can edit those to suit with a picture editor, but make sure you keep the size and number of colors the same.

ok, I didn't think about all the waypoints inside some of the caches. I want those 417, because they are the ones I am likely to encounter around home or my job locations. I plan to build PQ's for new and archived caches for the same area.
