+Landsharkz Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Beaver Dude went to Quebec to take part in the Mega Event during the celebrations for the 400th anniversary of the founding of Quebec by Samuel de Champlain. The province's capital city was decked in ribbons and the city looked amazing! We designed and produced a geocoin to take with us and we have a few left over if anyone would like to add our Canadian Beaver Dude to their coin collection. The coin is minted in black nickel, it's 42mm diameter and 3.0mm thick. The front and back are a combination of Imitation Hard Enamel and Soft Enamel to create the effect we wanted. Translucent paint is also used for the ribbon. This coin has a custom icon. Coins are priced at $8.50 each (CAD).
