How do I find them?

PQs have the option of selecting specific cache types and ignoring the rest. You will have to move the center point of the PQ around the country to get all of them though. I've been successful at getting only the Earthcaches in the Southwest using this.

Thanks. I was hoping not to tax GS too hard by putting in a bunch of PQs, but maybe I'll just do one a week for awhile. :(

I'm trying to do a search for just earthcaches. Is there any way short of a PQ to find them (and only them)? Once I get past the first 500 local caches, the local search stops.

here is a quick-n-easy way: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx

select a cache type

select a focal point

seems to be limited to a 50 mile radius

Yep, that's why I abandoned it because I'd already hit the only nearby two. The PQ worked perfect, but I was trying to find a way for non-premiums to find them as well. ;)

edit: As they say, "Membership has its privileges".

or just do a state/provincial search for earthcaches.. good if you have done everything within 50 miles
