currykev
The day before may be a little wetter. But if it does... I've planned to eat some great local Yorkshire food. Chicken Madras and a Keema Nan! Quote Link to comment
sTeamTraen
The BBC forecast is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2105 I don't know what (Friday and Monday) means exactly versus (Saturday and Sunday), but I presume that more raindrops ain't good. Quote Link to comment
rutson
Typical techie, didn't read "Please move your mouse over a symbol to view its description." Friday's predominant weather is forecast to be light showers. Saturday's predominant weather is forecast to be heavy showers. Sunday's predominant weather is forecast to be heavy showers. Monday's predominant weather is forecast to be light showers. Edited August 1, 2008 by rutson Quote Link to comment
The Cache Hoppers
It looks a teensy weensy bit better if you look on The Weather Channel, Speaking to someone in the Wye Valley just now, apparently it's quite nice there at the moment, so I've asked him to stand outside and blow it towards Harrogate. +The Hornet
I've found Metcheck to be fairly good. The forecast looks a bit iffy but it could be worse I suppose. I think I'll pack my shorts and wellies just in case. (Obvious comments welcome............ ) Quote Link to comment
clotguy
Get the Pirate and Cache Hoppers to order more of that nice Derbyshire weather from last weekend Quote Link to comment
goldpot
So, better dust down the flat-cap what ever the weather may be. Quote Link to comment
overanout
Well it rained pretty heavily during the night -Thursday into Friday, but during the day of Friday it has been quite nice with fluffy white clouds and sunshine. There has been a bit of a breeze though, but a warm one. If the worst happens and it does rain on Sunday, do what any self respecting Tyke would do and use a Rhubarb leaf to keep your flat cap and whippet dry... Be prepared though, because Yorkshire rain often comes in sideways from Manchester... Quote Link to comment

Stuey
It just goes to show, never ever look at the weather forecast. Wake up, look out of the window... see for yourself, lol. The weather was fab! Quote Link to comment
The Hornet
Wake up, look out of the window... see for yourself, lol. Well in my little corner of the camping field I didn't have to look out of the window in the early hours of Sunday morning, I could hear the "Yorkshire sunshine" beating down on my tent. Also while doing the cache series around the nearby reservoir the heavens opened again and I was soaked. Fortunately I had a change of clothes in the car so I ended up nice and dry at the main event.
