Nuvi 200W

Can waypoints/geocaches be added to this unit and can it be used to get you close to the cache? I have a trip coming up where I could use this but can not justify buying it only for the trip.

They are not the greatest for finding the cache, however, as they don't have a navigation screen and "like" to stay attached to the roads.

You can enter the coords in a 200W and it will take you to the nearest road or maybe parking lot.

I still find it amusing when it tells me right over there, behind that house.

Then I look at the map for the entrance to the park.

Sure, you can just send a cache as you would any other GPS. The problem is that the units "lock to the road", so they don't quickly leave the road when you do. And second there is no compass screen, so getting to the "zero" location is a challenge.

It has pedestrian and off road settings. I use mine to find caches exclusively.
