avroair
Just curious how people trade. (a) 1 for 1 all the time ( almost all the time 1 for 1 © htf and vhtf multiples (offering or asking for) (d) lil bit of everything Just curious for me I usually go 1 for 1, but make exceptions for HTF and VHTF coins. +earthrooster
About the same for me. Mostly 1 for 1 (as high as 4 for 4 - still even trades of course), but I've made a few 2 for 1 trades (or 1 for 2). Once I even had a 'round robin' trade ("Bob" sent a coin to "Suzy" who sent a coin to me and I sent one to "Bob"). Quote Link to comment

+Crowesfeat30
Just curious for me I usually go 1 for 1, but make exceptions for HTF and VHTF coins. Ditto but I prefer to trade HTF for HTF rather than multilpe coins for a HTF. Just doesn't seem fair somehow. Just my 2¢ CF30 Quote Link to comment
+OverTheEdge
The majority of my trades have been 1:1. My largest trade was a 4:4 - and I was so excited. There are times when I try to add something extra and/or special to a trade to suprise a person - but right now I am a little light on trade coins. Ihave purchased many new coins lately - so I will be "back in the game"... If there is a new cacher trading - I try to make sure they have a positive experience. Quote Link to comment

ATMouse
(D) Whatever works best for both parties, I want to feel happy and I want my trading partner to feel happy Yup...I'm here for this answer. But that said, most have been 1:1. Quote Link to comment
+kehunt64
B: almost all the time 1 for 1 ~~ most of my trades I did trade several of my Nerds V2 (trackable with icon) 2 for 1 because they were starting a child's collection and I have 2 coins that I traded 3 coins each to get. Quote Link to comment
+TeamEccs21
So far all my trades have been 1:1. I don't really keep that close a watch on what the HTF or VHTF coins are. If I have one you want and you have one I want the trade is on. Edit to add...we prefer to trade for personal coins Edited July 27, 2008 by TeamEccs21 Quote Link to comment
+creacher
I usually go 1 for 1, but make exceptions for HTF and VHTF coins. Same here for the most part. Have done as many as 8:8 before and have no problem trading or receiving multiples for HTF or VHTF. Quote Link to comment
+ECplus3
All of my trades have been 1:1 trades, but I don't think I would consider any of them HTF, except for the New Zealand Fern. In that case however, butterfly_lady very graciously let me choose the coin I sent in return... I hope it arrives soon so I can learn if I chose wisely! I don't have any of the HTF or VHTF coins myself, so my only opportunity to trade for VHTF coins would be x:1 trades. It seems that everyone who has one of these coins available is only willing to trade for an equally HTF coin. The example I have in mind is the Delft Blauw coins. The only ones I've seen available were asking for a da Vinci SET in trade for just one of them! Besides, who judges whether a coin is HTF? Is it the run size? Or how many people are listing them for trade as opposed to keeping them? Or how well they are doing on eBay? If you believe the listings there, EVERY coin is HTF!! Just my $.02 worth. PS: Anyone want to trade a Delft Blauw Klomp or Molen for anything? Quote Link to comment
+Mr.Explorer3
I have traded from 1:1 including LE for LE and such up to 26:1 for a VHTF geocoin. I guess it depends on how much you want a geocoin. Quote Link to comment
+LadyBee4T
I'd guess that 99% of my trades have been one for one. I did trade 6 coins for 4 because one of them I really, really wanted. I think as it has been said before if both sides are happy then it is a good trade. Quote Link to comment
+Frank n Beck
We haven't done a whole lot of trading, but what we have done has been 1 to 1. Although would trade several to one if it was something I really wanted. Quote Link to comment
avroair
Since we are talking about 4-4, my largest was 34 for 34 with kayakerinme ~ he had a bunch of older coins i needed, I had a bunch of newer stuff he needed. I usually do 7 -7s, 4 -4s etc to even out a trade since if i have a really good coin and something i feel is not worth much, I would trade it for 2 fairly good coins, so it evens out a bit. And both traders are winners. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
0:0 If I moved coins it would be X:Y X=X Y=Y All in the interest of the coin of course. Quote Link to comment
LoriDarlin
I've done a little of everything... 1:1 2:1 3:1 trackable-non trackable non-trackable - trackable multi trades - multi trades le - le htf - htf gift - gift & it keeps going and going ~~ hehe Quote Link to comment
+fox-and-the-hound
1:1 without exception. I've gone as high as 8:8 or so, but it's always a 1:1 ratio. The only exception might be multiple sigs or 'Tags for a geocoin, but that would be a rarity. I've been surprised when someone tossed in an extra just to be nice and I've done the same, but that's never been part of the original trade. It just feels "wrong" somehow. Quote Link to comment
