+Iron_Giant
A recent spate of events in Mississauga has gotten a lot of media attention (at least in Toronto). A few weeks back, a number of piles of meat were found in a local area forest. There are at least 2 caches in that forest (GC10544 and GCKPZ6), and I've been in there at least once in the last year. Just a few days ago, another suspicious pile of meat (wouldn't ANY pile of meat be suspicious??) was found in a park north of Derry and Winston Churchill. My son has had several t-ball games in that park this year. Yesterday, a lady was found dead (possibly murdered) in a Mississauga park that contains a cache that I've been to in the last 6 months (GCZ7NQ). What are the odds of anyone having been to all 3 places recently? Wouldn't it look suspicious to law enforcement? Kinda freaky if you ask me. Quote Link to comment
+Juicepig
your just caching in the wrong places, try getting out of the city (maybe the crime will stop too) Quote Link to comment
+Tequila
With the volume of caches in the GTA and the seemingly increase in crime (totally unrelated), I would think the odds of someone having been to all three of those caches in the last few days are pretty good. It would be interesting to know if the police even think about seeing if there are caches near a crime scene and seeing who has been to them. Sounds like a good plot for CSI. Quote Link to comment

Sounds completely weird to me, and I agree that any pile of meat in the forest is suspicious, if it is what I am picturing. Quote Link to comment

It was described as a pile of ground beef, about the size of a mini basketball. And I guess my point was, who, other than cachers (with kids in t-ball/baseball/soccer) would have been to all three places. P.S. I'll NEVER turn myself in, ya hear, coppers, never. Atlus
Maybe the killer is a geocacher just protecting the caches from muggles? He could have read the FAQ wrong. Quote Link to comment
