Character limit for usernames?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of changing my username... well, more like combining two accounts. My fiance and I always cache together, but he never logs online, so I have to log for both of us. Which seem rather silly.

So my question is this: what's the maximum number of characters for a username? I want to see if I can put both our names on it Silfron & Mandotheneset or if I'll have to shorten it. I figure I'll change the name for this account and just pretend his doesn't exist (all our DNFs are on this one). He had to pick obnoxiously long name of course

Don't go over 64 characters, or you'll have a conflict with being able to log into the forums. And try to avoid special characters like & or < or >.
