+RVFlyer
A simple question - I have been seeing the log entry "Coin Drop" in some cache logs - no other comment, just these two words. What does this refer to? Intuitively it would seem that someone is simply putting something in a cache but I would like to have this confirmed or clarified. Many thanks. Quote Link to comment
+hydnsek
Means they are dropping a coin into the cache. Usually, it means they forgot to drop the coin/TB when they posted their original log, so they had to create a second note to drop it/them. Sometimes, people use notes to drop coins/TBs into event caches ahead of the event. And, occasionally, some folks write notes to "dip" personal coins/TBs into a cache for mileage, even though they are still in their possession. Edited July 21, 2008 by hydnsek Quote Link to comment
