+sseegars
I have tried to run a KML on GEarth, but it wants to take me inland. I want to run the banks and utilize the ferries as I have never had the chance. Anyone got anything for me? Doc Quote Link to comment

+wesleykey
47 views and no one knows one decent cache along the outer banks? No, remember this forum is for a region. I have found caches in 10 states, but none yet in NC. Quote Link to comment
+edscott
If you are looking for real boxes in the woods there are a couple just West of Nags head and North of Jockey Ridge State Park. Quote Link to comment
+medic208
I live in NC but never cached there. Not many cachers from that end of the state visit these forums on a regular basis. Try contacting Fishingfools via his profile, he visits that area frequently and may have a few suggestions. Quote Link to comment

Doc I don't know if this will help, but the zip code for Kill Devil Hills (pretty much the middle of the OBX) is 27948. I've only ever used this method to locate caches where I was visiting. There are a good many caches here. A number of them are puzzle caches if you are into thoses (we aren't). We live in Manteo and have always wanted to do a loop starting here and going south on Rt 12, taking the the ferry to Ocracoke, take the other ferry to Swan Quarter and following Hwy 64/264 back home. I just checked my two favorites near Jockey Ridge from last summer and they are still active. I remember a couple near Manteo that were good as well.
