+ferventkids Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 (edited) Magellan has released the firmware update for the Roadmate 1412 to ver 1.34. One of the features I like on this unit is the ability to select cache locations (my poi's) for a road trip plan, then select 'Optimize' and it will put it the caches in driving order. dukeslax44 Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 I updated the firmware yesterday and when i went to use the GPS the maps were not visible. It appears that the maps aren't being read by the new firmware or something along those lines. i was wondering if anyone else had the same problems when they installed the new firmware or if you have a link to the old firmware so I can see whether it is the firmware or the device.
