gallet Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I've already got delivery but I'm a bit leary of plugging it in. If it was $20 I'd probably feel better, which is entirely illogical. It seems well made and it's got the right looking mini usb jack. Is there anything I should be wary of? http://tinyurl.com/5z7wtn Quote
jimlarkey Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Why not check out the eBay feedback of others that bought the charger.....even contact them? Quote
+Team Chinook Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Call or write Garmin and ask for the specifications. What are the specifications on the Garmin charger? Some of those units ouput 5.x volts and some less. Depends on the unit and it's input range. I have a charger for a usb gps that won't work with my blackberry, and a solar gps that will work with my blackberry, but not my motorola cell.
