Garmin Oregon - Now available at REI

Recommended Posts

Ahem. To me, "Backordered" means exactly to opposite of "Now available" and "can be purchased."

I want to concentrate on getting my Colorado working correctly before visiting any other states. Maybe when the California is released I'll consider it. With 50 states, Garmin has it's work cut out for them. Next will probably be a gPhone to compete with the iPhone...

ARrrggh.. $50 more than I just paid for my Colorado? I wonder if REI would take my colorado back.

Yes, they will. REI's return policy is excellent. Just ordered an Oregon. (they won't have it for a couple weeks, though)

I may regret it, but I know REI will take it back.

Absolutely-- REI has one of the best return policies I've ever come across. Basically they'll take any item back, in any condition, after any amount of time, and for any reason. They actually encourage you to open and use items, and then bring them back if you're not happy, or it's not what you want.

I've seen muddy boots, frayed pants, wet, unrolled tents, etc. all returned with no questions asked.
