+GPS_Runner Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 I’m hoping someone can help me with lag I’m experiencing with my new iTrek M7. I purchased this as an upgrade from a Pharos iGPS BT SiRF StarIIe/LP. After charging the M7 it connected to my iPaq rx3115 with no trouble. But I noticed a terrible lag of about 15 to 20 seconds when I move. By lag, I mean that if I start walking after standing still, the iPaq takes about 20 seconds to begin showing my movement. The older Pharos iGPS BT was very quick to show any movement. I went out outside and compared the two, and found the Pharos iGPS BT had about a 1 to 2 second delay in showing a 180 degree turn. The newer iTrek M7 took about 20 seconds to show the same turn. I have adjusted the iTrek M7 to refresh from 1 to 5 Hz, but nothing seems to change. Anyone have any idea why I’m seeing such a delay with the iTrek M7? Quote Link to comment
