+The Pathman
Anyone have one?? Do you like it or not and why..... Looking at the NAVONE GPSM2100 as a possible car unit so any input would be greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment
+RRLover
I can't think of but one or two passing mentions (of Cobra) in my time on this forum, that says something. I bought some FRS/GMRS radios and they $V(!<. Proprietary batteries that cost as much as the radios, no volume, no car charging, no range . . . 5 watts is 5 watts . . . well maybe, anyway they're parked next to my XL. Glenn W
Cobra bowed out of the consumer GPS market (see link). You probably would get only limited customer support, firmware upgrades, and map updates. You might consider the Garmin C550 which is currently selling as low as $200 online. http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.a...archTerms=cobra Edited July 11, 2008 by Glenn W Quote Link to comment
+pigpen4x4
After trying a Mio, (....don't say anything at all.) when people ask me what to buy, I say stay with a major GPS company. Like Garmin, Magellion or Tom Tom. I now use a Nuvi 200W for in car, and I am thrilled with it. PP4x4 Quote Link to comment
