+merkman
I have the following coin and every time I try to log it or look for it I get an error on the gc.com page. http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...55-d8e11b5695ae I have tried multiple combinations for the tracking code (thinking I may not have read it correctly, ie is that an 8 or a B?) via the trackable items menu link or the actual log page for the coin to no avail. What do you do in an instance like this? Quote Link to comment
+merkman
Ok I got it now. The first letter was a S not an 8 and not a B. I guess that makes sense since it is a signal coin. Quote Link to comment
+OwlCacher
The owner appears to be active in geocaching, so you can email him and ask for it. He would be able to look it up for you. If he asks you to prove you have it you can show him a photograph of the number and the coin. Quote Link to comment
+Butterfly_lady
I sympathise.... Another coin with way too tiny tracking numbers on it.... Quote Link to comment

I had the same problem just this morning. You'd think by now I'd be able to figure it out. If you can't figure it out, just send en email to the owner and they can tell you what it is. +DaFunkyFrogs
I can never tell what those itty bitty numbers are---I have to use a really good magnifying glass to read them, and even then I sometimes get errors. When I send a coin out to travel I put the tracking number, very large, on its mission tag so no one else has too much trouble logging it. I wish everyone would do that. Quote Link to comment
