According to the main geocaching page, near the bottom "There are 655,620 active caches worldwide" There does not seem to be a facility under "Advanced search" to get a worldwide search. There's a thread on the general forums about the 1,000,000th cache http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=204013I think that refers to the millionth listing being used, which would include all archived and never published caches. How that's been calculated to be GC1GBC0 I have no idea. Bo my vuurmaakplek..!! I go with the 655,620 active caches - I'm sure that's the proper measure of active caches today, and in line with SA's 3000 and a few. Quote Link to comment
