Tutorial freezes with iPAQ HX2110

When I start the Wherigo Tutorial, it works some time but when I drag down the text with the bar on the right side, the PDA freezes and the picture shows a bar i the middle, like this:

Does anyone know how to solve that problem?

That's an odd problem. I wonder what would happen if there was just text and you had to scroll.

scrollig text without pictures seems to work. But this problem doesn't occur everytime I scroll a picture. The PDA freezes mostly while scrolling the third or fourth pic.
