Brian_ExpCols
I work for the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Experience Columbus. I am interested in working with someone on creating a geocache itinerary for our visitors. Please let me know if you are a local, and if this is something that might interest you. I am just south of Chillicothe and would love to do a geocaching tour of Columbus. You might get with Central Ohio Geocachers, too. They have a website, www.cogeocaching.org Quote Link to comment

I am just south of Chillicothe and would love to do a geocaching tour of Columbus. You might get with Central Ohio Geocachers, too. They have a website, www.cogeocaching.org Great, I will look into the Central Ohio Geocachers site. I would like to post existing caches in the Columbus area on our site. Have you done any Columbus caches that you would recommend I include. I would also like to email the person in charge of the cache so that they are aware that traffic to their cache may increase. +nittany dave
For an example of another city that has incorporated geocaching into their tourism efforts you can see http://www.exploreasheville.com/geocaching/index.aspx If you want, I can put you in touch with the local geocacher who has worked closely with Asheville to help them in their efforts. +LEGO
I own this cache, which is the closest one to the convention center: "Makes SENSE" - 50 States Have you found it yet? I must admit, it is not the most exciting cache in town, but it's worth finding if you are in the area. I work right there at High & Nationwide; we could have lunch someday and talk about what you want to do. Quote Link to comment

+Cherokee Bill
I'm not local, as I live in Central VA, but travel to Columbus, OH several times a year on business. In fact I'll be up again the middle of next month. I stay in Columbus, then drive out to London for business. Put me on your mailing list once this is set up Quote Link to comment
