Oudenaarde Caches

I'm visiting Oudenaarde as part of the organisers of the Oudenaarde historical celebrations

More details here and would like to grab some caches inbetween my events.

 

I won't have time to do all the Multies around the town as our car will not be in use all weekend, so can anyone recommend the best cache to do?

 

I can read Flemish (I grew up in St-Niklaas) so that side isnt a problem

 

Any suggestions welcome (Ook in Vlaams!)

Welcome In Oudenaarde!

 

As you are not using the car, the only cache you can do is:

V©ache l'Escaut

 

The owner Lucky kesj is living in Oudenaarde and his cache gives us the possibility to visit the center of the beautiful town (I was born there) OR to make a walk in a new green area on the left bank of the river Scheldt. One can not do this cache on Mondays and Tuesdays!

We did this cache indeed 3 years ago, and have good memories of the small walk.

 

Modest as ever, Barontoo did not mention another cache he placed close by :

Koppenberg we visited this year, one week before the famous "Ronde Van Vlaanderen" passed by.

A small, nice multi : getting there by bike would be the real challenge !
