+DangerJudy
Been looking at a 260 as a gift for a non-cacher. Now Garmin is coming out with the 255. Seems identical in features. What makes the 255 'better'? Quote Link to comment
MtnHermit
The 255 has a new interface with more screen devoted to maps, less to soft buttons. The +/- zoom buttons are on the right side, instead of the top. The CPU is more integrated which lowers Garmin's cost. This will translate into a lower selling price by the end of the year. I'm expecting to see the similiar 205 at $99 on Black Friday. As to "better" Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Quote Link to comment
+Redwoods Mtn Biker
The 260 does text-to-speech. The 255 is FM traffic and MSN compatible. Here is a comparison. Quote Link to comment
