+Eartha
He only picked it up on 5-2-08, I would be patient and give the person time to find time to go caching again. Patience is a key word when it comes to travel bugs. Not everyone can go caching every single weekend or spare minute. Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
Oh, and if you've already sent him 3 emails since 5-2-08, I'd lay off on the emails for a while. Quote Link to comment

+BlueDeuce
Yep, give it more time. You never know what might be going on in someone's life that puts geocaching on the back burner for a while. I don't even send my first email until at least three months have passed. Edited May 27, 2008 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment

I don't even send my first email until at least three months have passed. While I generally don't wait 3 months, I do agree with this statement. I recently contacted a cacher because she'd had my coin over a month (just a friendly note, asking if she planned on placing it soon, letting her know my daughter is excited to watch it travel.) She wrote back, apologizing profusely but explaining that her mom had recently had a heart attack and was in the midst of moving in with her family for recouperation. Needless to say, I felt horrible for prodding her at this difficult time - even though she was great about it and wound up placing the coin within a week after our email exchange. Life often gets in the way of caching. If someone in my family were ill, caching would be the furthest thing from my mind, that's for sure. Quote Link to comment
