+HaLiJuSaPa
Congratulations! We're going to be up your way and at the NEPAG event on 5/25, so I guess we'll see you there (ironically, we briefly met the OP at an event local to us last August, the only event we've attended to date!). +vanm
1000 used to be a big, big deal, but now there are cachers who started a long time after us who shot thru 1000 like it was 100... So, from one of those that thinks 1000 is still a big deal, congratuations!! Quote Link to comment

+stellarscapes
THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE CONGRATULATIONS. I was planning on finding a special cache out west for #1000 in mid-June, but I just got carried away and kept finding too many caches here in Pennsylvania. However, the cache I did for #1000 was a memorable one that was both physically and mentally challenging and a fun one to do. I still have 3-1/2 weeks to go, maybe the APE cache can be #1050 or #1100. Quote Link to comment

The one in Washington State... Mission 9: Tunnel of Light (GC1169) We're leaving on June 14th and taking the train (Amtrak) from Philadelphia to Seattle. Hope to find the APE Cache on either June 18th or 19th. Quote Link to comment

I honestly thought most Amtrak left was just the Boston-Washington route, the Auto Train to Florida, and the line that basically follows I-87 from NYC to Montreal and I-90 from Boston to Buffalo.
