problems with my eXplorist 500le

I have recently ran into problem with my eXplorist 500

 

The problem in that I has been acting kind of sluggish when I am in the field

 

When I first got it this was not a problem but it has seem to get slower and slower

 

And will not keep up with me when I am in the field while geocaching that and the accuracy has gone down a lot it too.

 

What might be the problem and how can I fix it.

Could be there is an issue with your SD card. Replace your SD card with a different one and see if it helps.

What type of AAA batteries are you using? Have you changed them?

dont use them we have 2 or 3 rechareable battery packs for it. that always have a fresh charge befor we turn it on.

Have you tried a clear all? You will lose WAAS if you do this and aren't running 2.57 firmware. You could try updating to the newest firmware.

Try clearing all the track logs in the internal memory. I have found these can really slow down the unit. If you want to keep them, back them up onto your computer.

i have cleared all the memory. and i think the problem has been solved thanks to everyone that has try to help me on this one.
