Lithium-Ion Batteries

Do lithium-ion batteries need to be conditioned? It used to be standard practice with rechargeables to charge and fully drain a couple of times before putting them into service. Is that necessary, or even desirable, with the newer generation of lithium-ion batteries? Thanks.

No. Neither LiIon or NiMH needs conditioning.
