South African hospitality

[+Sussex Leprechauns]

Not really a topic as such but i recently made a post asking for some cache ideas for a forthcoming trip to Jo Burg from the uk. I have since been and returned and just wanted to register my appreciation for all of the hospitality and help given by SA cachers. In particular Anton, Alex and Anya from DamhuisClan took me for a superb days caching on Sat during which we also called in briefly on Redglobe. My first SA cache, and my first outside of Europe was Gasman5's logical one and he was very helpful in confirming coords before I set out for it, likewise carbon Hunter although I didn't actualy make it to GIBS.

 

All the help was much appreciated and if we can ever reciprocate - we are based near Gatwick airport - then we would be delighted to. I don't actually visit the forums that often (they can get very catty & neggie here in the UK - but don't say I said so ) so best to contact through our profile.

I was a pleasure meeting you thanks to Damhuis Clan and reading all your logs, it sounds that you enjoyed your first stay in SA albeit a short one. Next time we will try and arrange a event cache around your visit.
