Changing the cache density rule?

I know now I seek out areas with good density before setting out as I just can't afford to go on 50 mile FTF runs anymore. I would love to see more "power trails" so I can still get some numbers.

I just did an 8 mile mountain biking "power run" last night out in the woods. It wasn't really a power run in the traditional sense, just 18 caches (plus a bonus). Most were about .3 apart, but some were .7 away. It was set up to be a "gas saver" series where you park once and get a lot of caches and exercise at the same time and can be done either on foot or mountain bike if you're up for the challenge.

I try to look for clusters of caches like this now rather than the one lonely cache off all by itself.
