+Solan109
Esther says she received her package today from solan109, but won't tell me what is in it!! I did eventually get to see what my wife got from solan109! Her package contained about a dozen postcards from Stockholm and elsewhere in Sweden, a couple of toothpick flags, a lanyard, one of Solan's wooden nickels and two coins: a Lapporten 2008 and a princesscake. Thanks solan!! Hopefully there was a dalahorse pin in there somwhere too ... I´m glad she liked it //Solan Quote Link to comment

Tooeygeotrashed
1). Souvenir Email Sent - April 15 2). Souvenir Name Received - Yes 3). Souvenir Mission Sent - Yes today 4). Souvenir Mission Received - YES - a lovely package from 9Key, thank you so much. Finally got to take a photo of the great package I received from 9Key. The can of Armadillo Meat was a huge surprise, I've eaten Crocodile and Kangaroo, Rabbit, Hare & Monkey Poo (by mistake). But I've never had an Armadillo, it comes in sauce and gritty bits, I thought it might give me the s***s, it was kinda chewy, I got sore jaws, but for that can of Armadillo I give you applause. The Texas Jalapeno seeds, spicy hot TEXAS SIZE Jelly Beans, what better to follow a meal of tinned Armadillo with. It's nice to get a night off from Kitchen duty Two great Texas coins, keychain, fridge magnet and some travelling pathtags and a travel slug, all to appear in a cache soon. Thanks so much 9Key, it was a fun package to receive Edited - This dingbat forgot to add the photo. Edited May 23, 2008 by Tooey Quote Link to comment

Yesterday I finally sent out my two mission packages AND I received my first souvenir mission, from dhenniger, from New Jersey. Being a big Springsteen fan, ever since I learned that the Boss is not from Nebraska New Jersey has a special ring to it for me I received a really fun 'Weird Jersey' tourist guide, a NJ photo book, a whole bunch of Jersey postcards and a South/Northern NJ geocachers coin, a dhenninger benchmark coin (with the cutest little bear on it!9, and what I assume to be a former dollar cent, now all stretched out and featuring the NY Twin Towers - my birtday is 9/11 I took all these gifts to a friend's house to show them off and he immediately confiscated the Weird Jersey guide, so I'll have to fight him to get it back (also so I can take pictyures to post here!) Thanks dhenninger, you really went all the way and beyond! +GeoKs
Received our mission in the mail yesterday and would like to send out a HUGE thanks to our Halifax mystery senders, Chuck & family (no geocaching name anywhere on the package or card!). We're delighted to receive Hammer of Thor (antique copper) and Signal (June 2006) geocoins - we didn't have either one in our geocoin collection. Also received a beautiful hand-made card, a postcard, a really cool nautical-themed key chain, some salt-water taffy and a soft & cuddly red lobster (I know, soft & cuddly and lobster don't normally go in the same sentence, but this one is all plush & velvety). Youngest GeoKid loves our new Halifax lobster and it had a place of honour on his pillow last night at bed time. Thanks for your wonderful generousity - most appreciated!! Quote Link to comment

CF30 I concur... Update coming shortly Finally the pictures Michael... Opps, I mean rattusbaggus... was very, very excited to get this mission. He had been at his grandparents for the morning as he has a cold and in the morning was not feeling the best so I decided not to send him to school. Grandparents had to go to a funeral early afternoon, so I headed home at lunch time for Michael to be dropped off whilst grandparents went to said funeral. Well his face as he unpacked the box! His jaw dropped. Whilst he was was unpacking the goodies he said to me "Dad, can this mission get any cooler!!?" I think that totally sums it up. And it did get cooler as he said that only after looking at the coins, and before seeing the tee-shirt and baseball cap. Man was he excited to see those!!! Sarah - you most certainly made a little boys day in this household. Thank you very much... Any you made a certain big boys day too with the little feathery surprise included . Thank you very much!!
