Emulator Runtime error

Gerald

Recommended Posts

Been working on my first cartridge. From today every time I try to run the emulator I get an error "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line 440 Error: Expected"}" . The emulator has already opened and is at the point that the map is meant to load. It is doing this even with a cartridge that I have not changed since yesterday. Even the tutorial cartridge. Help.

First, the standard questions and responses:

Please uninstall the builder and install the newest version. If you have the newest version, please reinstall it.

Did you allow time for the Google Map to load before clicking anything? In one of the first versions of the builder and emulator, I clicked on something before the map loaded and the application errored.

What is the full error message? Is this it or is there a call stack (something that looks like some programming code names)?

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Dont know if this helps.

Occours even before opening a cartridge. Was working fine. Changed nothing. Maybe something to do with the maps loading.
