Just a question...

Recommended Posts

It's not just a game to me. You see I have a problem being around other people. Geocaching has really put me into a position to have to interact with others. It changed me. I have made some really good friends over the past couple of years (this is my second handle). I started this hobby 8/14/03. So yeah, it is a significant part of my life as I speak to some of these folks daily. All in all a very positive experience.

Well...for me it is more than just a game. Does the game play any bigger role in your life?

edit for spelling

It's only a game! It's only a game! It's only a game! It's only a game! It's only a game!

It's also a reason to get out and go walking sometimes, a reason to go to and see things I would not have otherwise, a way to spend some great time with wife and/or grandkids. But........

it's not an obsession! it's not an obsession! it's not an obsession! it's not an obsession! :)

It is a game. But it is also ore to me. I a new to the game, but have been a long time hiker and love to explore. Getting lost in the woods is very calming to me as I have a very stressful job in a highly politically charged environment. To be able to get out alone or with my son is very nice. The other cachers also give me hope that there are still some good people out there who care about more than themselves and their bank accounts.
