+LunaSmith Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Couldn't find a quick answer in the search... But I'm sure this isn't the first time it's been asked... so sorry. I've added a counter to my cache listing... But it has a link under the counter to the free site I downloaded the code from... Is this a bad thing? Is this bad form? TIA Quote

+CM-14 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I use amazingcounters.com sometimes and you can edit the link out of the HTML, so all you see is the counter. They say that the counter won't work if you edit it out, but I haven't had one quit in 2 years... Quote

I've added a counter to my cache listing... But it has a link under the counter to the free site I downloaded the code from... Is this a bad thing? Is this bad form? TIA Almost all free internet webpage counters have links, be it to the site they came from, or even internet advertisements. It's always been like this, even before geocaching existed. I'd be careful in the, uh, current environment around here. Quote
