crockett3663
I keep seeing this term used in different postings on www.geocaching.com, and I have no clue what it means. Can someone please enlighten me? Quote Link to comment
DaFunkyFrogs
Muggles are the non-geocaching public. It is also used to mean a non-geocacher who has found a cache and either vandalized it (stealing coins, TB's or swag, or destroying it) or taken it entirely. Quote Link to comment
Zolgar
Muggle is a borrowed term. Geocachers use it as Frogs said. However to be more appropriate, the term is taken from the Harry Potter book series in which it refers to those who have no magic/are not part of the wizarding world. Quote Link to comment
Scare Force One
it does not necesarilyu refur to a person who has vandilived or stolen a cache, but simply any person who is not a geocacher. As mentioned above it is barrowed from the Harry Potwer series. Scare Force One Quote Link to comment
KoosKoos
You can find definitions like this in the Geocaching Lexicon: GeoLex (Other definition links are pinned in the FAQ section at the top of the forum too) Quote Link to comment
